Manarola WIP - more work today

Hi Everyone, Worked more today on my Manarola painting.  I added some colour values & shading contrasts on the buildings. Still have a few more to do.  Then I did a very light thin outline around windows sills..still have a few left to do. And started added some balconies..first phase..they still need to be outlined in some light grey/and dark.

Today, I really saw it starting to come alive. The end is near!

Manarola WIP Continues

Hi Everyone, finally back working in my studio on my Manarola painting.   Did quite a bit of intensive fine brush work the past two days,  I  outlined all the buildings, etc and added the window sills to all the windows, a time consuming part but happy that's done.  Will be moving on with some shadowing and colour tones to the buildings next.   Still lots more work to do, I figure another 15 + hours.

A Trip to Dubai

Hi Everyone, I haven't worked much on my Manarola painting, as I was in Dubai the past week from November 30th till December 6th.   Here are some pics to share with you of my trip. I really enjoyed my Trip. Dubai is a really exciting place to see and visit! The high light of the trip was the Desert Safari, where drove to the desert and drove 4x4's in the sand dunes, then a camel ride, and a nice dinner and show at the camp.

I thought I would share some of my pics with my followers here on my Studio Blog.

Wishing you all a great week ahead. Back to work in my studio. Finding it hard to get back into the painting.

Also will try ad complete foreground, and cement walls, boats, etc.   Still lots of work to be done

Beware Fellow Artists - Copyright Infringement

IMPORTANT FOLLOW UP to My Post about Copy right Infringement.

Hi everyone, Very Happy to Share with you all that the ESHG has written me back for using my Painting Image without my consent and I thought you would all want to know what they said:
I am very pleased to inform you that they apologized for using my image without my consent. They advised that person that selected the image is no longer working for them, and they don't know how this happened and informed me that they always seek permission and/or paying copy rights to the artists of which the paintings have been used in the last years and they very much regret, that this has not been made in my case.

They have also offered me compensation for using my image without my authorization; and they advised they will also gladly add the artist credit to the existing instances of the picture.
I am pleased with their response and how they responded in this manner.
Thanks again everyone, for your support, wishing you all a great weekend.

I recently discovered that the ESHG - European Society of Human Genetics, used my Painting "Wonders of Paris" for their 2013 Conference held in Paris without my consent. This is copyright infringement and illegal. I found my painting on their FaceBook Page and on their Flyer and wrote them. I look forward to hearing what they have to say. https://www.facebook.com/eshg.org/photos/oa.602292509789221/498084736911629/?type=1&theater

Blog Update, Travelling Bordeaux, France October 2014

Hi Everyone, Sorry I have not been so active these past months on my Studio Blog. I was in Canada visiting my family for almost 1.5 months and then I was in Europe with my husband for his work.  First in Switzerland and then We took some extra time 6 days from October 22 to October 28th and went to Bordeaux for my birthday.  Had such a wonderful time.   I am feeling very inspired from my beautiful trip to Bordeaux.   It has been a long time dream of mine to visit beautiful Bordeaux, and it was everything I imagined and more.
